AROHANA
This is ascending pattern of a certain Group of notes
low in sound in an ascending order
EX: SA ,RE ,GA ,MA ,PA
AWAROHANA
Awarohana is the desending pattern of a group of mote which desend from higher sound to low sound
EX:PA ,MA ,GA ,RE ,SA
WADI
This is a most prominent notes in a raga. It is also called Jeawa Swara , and it is used more than the other notes in a raga . It is compared to a king. Example of wadi swara is GA in rag YAMAN
SAMWADI
Next importend note after vadi is samvadi note. This is useless than the vadi. But more than the other notes. Often it is the 4th or the 5th note from of the vadi. It is compared to the queen.
ANUWADI
The notes other than the vadi and samvadi notes ina raga. are called Anuwadi notes it been compared to servent or citizen in the country.
VIVADI
Varja notes are never use in raga. If they are used,Meaning and taste of the raga completed destroyed.

RAGA
RAGA
Raga is the musicle compossition made out of swara and varna,which can pleas the mind of the listner.It must have the following ingridients:
(1) It shoul be born out of thata.
(2) It should have at least five notes.
(3) It should contain both Arohana and Awarohana.
(4) Shadja must be their always.

raga.
(8) A raga should have a fixed vadi note.
JATI
Jati is the difference in the form of a raga which is caused by the numbers of notes contained in it's Arohana and Awarohana. Shadawa , Oudawa and Sampurna which contains 5,6, and 7 respectively. These three main jatise are produce 9 more jatise follows:
(1). Sampurna - Sampurna
(2). Sampurna - Oudawa
(3). Sampurna - Shadawa
(4). Shadawa - Sampurna
(5). Shadawa - Oudawa
(6). Shadawa - Shadawa
(7). Oudawa - Sampurna
(8). Oudawa - Oudawa
(9). Oudawa - Shadawa
The numbers given withon brackets are the number of notes each jati has in raga's arohana.

Saptak is the collective name for the 7 notes. Saptak is in to 3 types,namely:
1. Mandra sapthak
2. Madya sapthak

(5). A that is named after the chief ashraya raga produced by it.
EX: Bhairav that is named after it's chief raga Bhairava.

SWEET SOUNDS
Sweet Sounds
Sweat sound use in music which have a definite number of vibrations and which can be heard by the human ear are called "SWARA" or note.
There are seven notes in music and they are , "Sa-Do ,Ri-Re ,Ga-Mi ,Ma-Fa ,Pa-So, Dha- La ,Ni- Ti" out of these "RI,GA,DHA ,NI" notes produces four comal notes and
MA produces thevra madyama.Thus we get 12 notes in all ,in the complete music scale of the present.
Sound Or Nada
vibration of a certain body creates or makes Nada or sounds.sound can be divided in tow categories
1. Musical sound or Nada
2. Unmusical sound or Noise
MUSICAL SOUND OR NADA
The sound which is produced by irregular and non periodic vibrations and which gives pleasant sensation on the ear is called musical sound or Nada.
EX: The sound of musical like violin , piano, guitar
UNMUSICAL SOUND OR NADA
The sound which is produced by irregular and non periodic vibrations and which gives unpleasant sensation on the ear is called an unmusical sound or noice.
EX: The sound produced by thunder ,gun shots
